Sejak pertama menyaksikan Toy Story (1995), saya sudah jatuh cinta pada film-film keluaran Pixar. Yah, meski tak seproduktif pesaingnya dalam jumlah film, menurut saya karya Pixar jauh lebih matang dalam kualitas konsep dan ide cerita.
Dari sekian karya mereka, WALL•E menurut saya layak dianggap sebagai yang terbaik. Minimalis dalam dialog, tapi begitu maksimal dalam membawa penontonnya berkontemplasi. Film yang sangat saya rekomendasikan untuk ditonton sekeluarga, namun lebih direkomendasikan lagi untuk ditonton sendiri.

Lagu berikut dijadikan lagu penutup di film tersebut, dibawakan oleh mantan dedengkot Genesis, Peter Gabriel.
